Dukhtaran-e-Millat on Tuesday urged the people to refrain from helping India in extending and continuing its illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir.
“ It was because of those Kashmiri people, who joined the pro-India political camp, that the illegal occupation of JK continues till date. Had these selfish pro-India people from NC, PDP, Congress and now BJP refrained from joining hands with India, JK would have been a part of Pakistan long ago,” DeM general secretary, Nahida Nasreen, said in a statement.
“Similarly, nowadays, some Kashmiris, for monetary benefits or under compulsion, are helping Indian forces. That is why we are witnessing a surge in the martyrdom of Mujahideen on daily basis. Kashmiris have to stop helping India by all means if they want the end of this illegal occupation,” she added.
She said that while the whole Kashmiri nation is up against the illegal Indian occupation and its forces, still there are few who, for their vested interests and personal gains, are betraying the nation. “Every Kashmiri has to be united and no one betray the nation of the cause if we want to see the end of Indian occupation as soon as possible,” she added.
She said that India will complete 70 years of its illegal occupation of JK. “ In these seven decades, India has used 70000 tricks to continue this illegal occupation. Indian forces have killed lakhs of people, caged lakhs of Kashmiri people, used different forms of repression but couldn’t break the resolve of people of Kashmir,” she said.
She said that the unflinching resolve of Kashmiris have made India believe that Kashmiris will never accept illegal Indian occupation. “India had this apprehension that time will come when Kashmir has to become part of Pakistan and now India has understood that those apprehensions were becoming a reality and was using every cheap trick to stop that,” she added.
“These cheap tactics like maligning the character of our Mujahideen, creating misunderstanding to divide people on many lines, arresting people in thousands, martyring the youth and the Mujahideen and attempts to change the demography of the state by raising illegal colonies, transferring land or by issuing state subject certificates to the non-Kashmiris are all a part of this Indian plan to continue occupying JK illegally,” she added.
On the other hand, she added, India continuously attacks the economic structure of Kashmir by creating different hurdles for the Kashmiri business community. “ Also, India continues to loot and plunder of our resources. All these things are done to continue the illegal occupation of jammu and Kashmir,” she added.
She said that India is also using all means to destabilise Pakistan because Pakistan is helping the oppressed Kashmiri Nation against India.
In such a situation, it is imperative for the people of Kashmir to remain steadfast in their resolve and by no means, whatsoever, help India continue its illegal occupation here, she added.
She said that numerous other tactics were being employed by India to continue occupying Kashmir. “ All the issues that are being discussed nowadays about the Indian aggression against Kashmir and Kashmiris are off-shoots of the illegal occupation, We unanimously fight and root out the occupation, every other issue will be resolved automatically,” she added.
She further cautioned people against how Indian forces roam around in civvies. “ Photographs on social media are viral today where these occupational forces are roaming around in civvies. Sometime they may come without weapons and it will be difficult for us to recognize them, so it is very important that we remain extra vigilant and cautious so that we are able to fail every evil design of these forces,” she added.
Nasreen further lauded the students of Kashmir university for once again raising their voice against the illegal occupation and the occupiers by protesting and displaying anti-occupation placards during the visit of so-called governor, N N Vohra, to the KU campus on Tuesday.
She also paid glowing tributes to the five Mujahideen who were reportedly martyred in Machil on Monday evening.
